About Pause Art
Pause Art is a paint-your-own ceramic atelier on the edge of Steinfort, run hands-on by owner Christine Van Oldeneel. The birthday is a 2-hour slot: Christine walks the kids through the painting techniques, sets each up with a pre-fired white ceramic piece (bowl, mug or box), and handles the glazing and high-fire kiln finish afterwards. The published programme is concrete: painting, a group game, snack time and gifts. The finished pieces come back a few days later.
Best for
- Kids old enough to sit at a table and finish a painted ceramic.
- Birthdays where the take-home is a kiln-fired ceramic piece.
- Parents who'd rather Christine handle the messy parts (glazing, firing, cleanup).
Good to know
- Booking is by SMS or email only; the GSM line is reserved for urgent contact.
- €100 deposit by bank transfer to BIL `LU65 0023 2101 1596 9600` with reference "date + time + child's name".
- Final headcount locks three days ahead; Christine bills that number even if a child drops out on the day.
- Pieces are not ready on the day. Christine glazes and fires after the party; you return to collect when they're done.

The small-group tariff is a true flat. Christine bills the same total whether four kids show up or seven, so under-8 groups don't get cheaper by booking fewer children.

This is the only tier that scales beyond ten. Christine's birthday pricing page doesn't publish an upper bound, so larger groups stack on the per-extra rate.
