Privacy at Festfixer

Festfixer is operated by Fimbul OÜ, a private company registered in Estonia. Fimbul OÜ is the data controller for any personal data collected through this site within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

For access, correction, deletion, or a complaint, email hello@festfixer.lu. If we can't sort it out, you can also raise it with your data protection authority. In Luxembourg, that's the CNPD.

You can browse the whole directory without giving us anything — there's no account and no parent inquiry form. The only time we ask you for personal data is when you write to us through the claim/update form. Then we ask for:

• Your name and email address (required, so we can reply).
• Your phone number (optional).
• Whatever you choose to write in the message.

We also keep a hashed version of your IP address for a few weeks to stop spam. We can't reverse it back to you.

To see which listings are popular, we use Vercel's privacy-friendly web analytics (Vercel also hosts the site). It counts page views in aggregate — no cookies, no profile, and nothing that identifies you.

One thing only: we use what you send through the claim/update form to reply to you and to update or remove the listing you're writing about. We don't share it with anyone or sell it.

Most listings start with us, not the venue. We build them from public information (a business's own website, its public social pages and public directories) so parents have somewhere to compare. A listing can include the venue or entertainer's name, address, public contact details, opening times and prices. Our basis for this is a legitimate interest in running a useful local directory, and we only ever publish what is already public.

If it's your venue or service, you're in control. Claim your listing to add detail, ask us to fix anything, or tell us to take it down — and we will. Or email hello@festfixer.lu.

• Our hosting providers, Vercel and Supabase, who only process it to run the site for us.

No one else. We don't sell data and we don't share it with marketers.

Claim-form messages stay in our admin inbox for up to 24 months so we can answer follow-up questions and keep a record. After that we delete them.

If you'd like yours deleted sooner, just email us (see the Contact section below).

Under EU and Luxembourg data protection law (GDPR) you can ask us to:

• Show you what we have on you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data entirely.
• Stop using your data while a request is being processed.

Festfixer doesn't set any tracking cookies. We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in if you have an admin account. That's the only one.

When you tap the heart on a venue, we save its slug in your browser's local storage so you can find it again on the Favourites page. This list never leaves your device. It isn't sent to Festfixer, isn't tied to an account, and isn't shared with venues.

Clearing your browser data, switching to a different device, or using private browsing will wipe the list.

Festfixer is for parents, not children. We don't collect data from anyone under 16, and we don't ask for any information about your child.

If we change anything meaningful, we'll bump the date at the top of this page. Last updated: 10 June 2026.
