About Kinepolis Luxembourg birthdays
Kinepolis runs three cinemas in Luxembourg: Kinepolis Kirchberg, Kinepolis Belval and Ciné Utopia in the city centre. Three birthday options span them. Each revolves around a children's film, sells per child, and the birthday kid attends free. The options differ by format: a fixed weekend slot in Kirchberg with play-area access, a flexible any-cinema-any-day group ticket, or a Belval booking that bundles a private snack room for the hour after the film.
Best for
- Film-loving birthdays where the kid would pick the cinema over a play space.
- Mixed-language guest lists. Sessions are hosted in LU, FR, DE or EN.
- Larger groups using the Belval option for the private snack room after the screening.
Good to know
- Minimum headcount (8 or 10) is charged even if fewer turn up. Book cautiously on headcount.
- No outside food or drink on the cinema floor; the Belval snack room is the only exception.
- Premium screens (3D, Laser Ultra, 4DX, IMAX) add a per-child surcharge on top of the base.
- Minimum 7 days lead time required; weekend slots at Kirchberg book up well in advance.

Limited to weekend slots: the first afternoon screening on Saturdays and both the first morning and first afternoon screenings on Sundays. Weekday slots open up during school holidays. The 15-kid ceiling is soft; contact the venue for larger groups.
Option 2 — Any cinema (Kirchberg, Belval, or Ciné Utopia)

Any day at any of the three Kinepolis sites. The most flexible scheduling option in the catalogue. The €5 in-shop voucher is per party (not per child), spendable only on the day of the booking.

Available daily at the first afternoon screening. The 1-hour snack-area window is the package's distinctive piece. It is fully self-catered, so bring plates, cutlery and napkins.
