About Centrale des Auberges de Jeunesse Luxembourgeoises
The Centrale is the head office behind Luxembourg's network of nine youth hostels, and the birthday lands at one specific hostel you pick. The packages run in three formats: Eat & meet (cake, drinks, decorated table, or a pizza-and-pasta upgrade), Rent & play (DIY use of a facility: bowling, trampolines, lake), and Let us entertain you (supervised climbing, geocaching, water sports, Bricks 4 Kidz).
Best for
- Birthdays built around a real activity: climbing wall, bowling, outdoor trampolines, lake water sports or GPS forest trail.
- Families anywhere in the country; nine active hostels covers Luxembourg City, the Müllerthal and the Moselle.
- Older kids who care about the activity more than the playroom.
Good to know
- The hostel is open to its other guests during your party. Expect to share dining and common areas.
- Pick a package first, then the hostel; many activities are tied to a specific site.
- Age bands are package-specific (Mini Tarzan 5–9, Olympic Games 8+, Tarzan 10+, Winnetou 11+).
- Outdoor Trampoline and Olympic Games run April to October; Winnetou May to September; indoor packages run year-round.
